About Sabrina
Life As A
Zoo-Keeper…
A lifelong animal lover (starting with a special connection with horses), Sabrina attended high school at Lyman Hall where she focused in the Vo-Ag Large Animal Science program. After taking a job with a local dog trainer as a kennel assistant, her love of all things dogs took over and she found herself leaning into an interest in training. To further her skills and knowledge, she sought an apprentice (and later, staff) position with a Canine Behaviorist and spent the next eight years working alongside several trainers and learning different approaches and methods for addressing the various issues that dog owners faced. With close to ten years of experience under her belt, she opened her own training business in 2018.
And…speaking of dogs…Sabrina has quite the pack! She currently has 3 dogs:
Miss Maja, an 11-year-old German Shepherd,
Cody, a 9-year-old Hound Dog mix, and
Marshall, a 4-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix.
Pig, her soul dog and Rottie/Golden Retiever mix (we think), crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2024.
Meet Lisa
Lisa is the super-assistant to Sabrina and does all of the scheduling, phone call and intake interviews for Sabrina’s Canine Solutions. She is a retired medical professional who is a mom to two older teenage boys and a wife to a biomedical/electrical engineer. While she doesn’t currently have any pets, she is a huge animal lover and loves going to the dog meet-ups. Her favorite part of the job is meeting all of the fur babies and the owners that she is regularly in contact with throughout the process. In her spare time, she loves to travel, do puzzles, garden and tend to her plants and swim. As a client, you will most likely speak to her or text on a regular basis, so she will be a contact in your phone!
